A furnace company adding cooling and heat-pump lines usually needs more than five pages: one per product line, a maintenance plan page and a financing page at minimum. That's worth weighing when you compare packages.
How furnace owners usually choose
Match the plan to your biggest gap rather than the biggest budget you can stretch to:
- Starter suits a company that needs the foundations: proper product pages for cooling and heat pumps, a working map listing and basic ads. It's a sensible first year for a furnace-only shop adding a second line.
- Growth suits a company ready to run all four levers at once: off-season campaigns, maintenance plan sign-ups through a CRM, review generation and financing promotion, with weekly reporting.
- Elite suits a larger operation, often across several towns or regions, that wants video, PR outreach and a monthly strategy call to keep a twelve-month plan on track.
A rough check: if your slow months leave a crew idle for several weeks, compare the plan fee with the margin from the extra installs you'd need to fill that time. For many companies, a handful of extra summer jobs a month changes the picture. Your accountant can help you judge what's affordable; we'll show you what the marketing should produce.
A worked comparison
Picture two furnace companies, each spending about the same per year. The first pays for Starter all year and adds media spend only from October to February. The second pays for Growth and spreads media spend so that a third of it lands between March and July. The second costs more in plan fees, but its maintenance renewals, review requests and spring campaigns are all running when the first company's phones go quiet. Which works better depends on your margins and capacity, which is exactly what the free review looks at.
What drives cost beyond the plan
- Media spend. Cooling and heat-pump searches cost more in a heat wave; furnace searches cost more in a cold snap. Spreading spend across seasons usually gets more from the same budget.
- Number of product lines and service areas. Each needs its own pages and campaigns.
- Website starting point. A slow, outdated site may need rebuilding before campaigns can perform.
- Data quality. If job and customer records are scattered, early weeks go into tidying tracking.
Sales tax, ownership and the free trial
Prices are in Canadian dollars. Canadian clients add GST/HST based on their province (5% GST in the West and North, 13–15% HST in Ontario and Atlantic Canada, GST and QST in Quebec). You own your website, domain, ad accounts, Google Business Profile and data. There's no lock-in, and the free 7-day trial requires no credit card.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a contract?
There's no lock-in. You can start with the free 7-day trial, which needs no credit card, and decide from there. Your website, accounts and data stay yours whatever you decide.
Is ad spend included in the plan price?
The plans cover our work. Media spend paid to Google, Meta or other platforms is separate and paid directly by you, so you keep control of the accounts and can see every dollar spent.
Do prices include GST or HST?
No. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and Canadian clients add GST or HST by province, or GST and QST in Quebec. Ask your accountant how sales tax applies to your business; we can't give tax advice.
Can we pay less in summer and more in winter?
Talk to us about it. The plan fee covers year-round work such as content, listings and reporting, but media spend is yours to pace, and a seasonal spend plan is part of the planning service.
Where can we see the full pricing details?
The complete, current price list is on our parent brand's page at hvac.agency/pricing. If anything there differs from this page, the HVAC.Agency page is the current one.
